How to qualify for full day Pre-K in Texas

“The law does not pretend to punish everything that is dishonest.
That would seriously interfere with business.”

– Clarence S. Darrow
“The civilized man has a moral obligation to be skeptical,
to demand the credentials of all statements that claim to be facts.”

– Bergan Evans

You must fit one of the following categories:

  1. qualify for federal free lunch program (just fill out the form and see what happens – where there’s funding, there’s a way)
  2. be an English learner (whether you are here legally or not)
  3. be a member of the U.S. military

This is a great bill for Allen Vaught. You see, his son is reaching Pre-K age. Representative Vaught doesn’t want to cross to the yucky side of the lake for Pre-K. He doesn’t want to go into icky Garland or Mesquite for Pre-K. He doesn’t want to use his new raise for private, elite Lakewood Montessori and have UB all up in his business.

Allen Vaught was in the U.S. Military! His kid qualifies for the HB-130 state funded babysitting program at a private school! With $8K or more in state funding per child, he might even be able to park his kids at private, elite Lakewood Montessori without breaking a sweat or spending a dime of his own money.

Lucky Me

Go District 107!

  1. You are a douche

  2. So someone in Austin at thinks I’m a douche. Another excellent use of our tax dollars.

  3. Wow! I didn’t know Unworthy Bum had followers in the ATX. How neat that Douche considers making comments state business. Another fine example of our tax dollars at work!

  4. haha … apparently Mr. Douche thinks you are related to him.

He is, happily for UB, mistaken.
